About Me

I'm currently 42 years old. I was born December 23, 1970.

I've lived in St. Louis pretty much all of my life, except for college. But we're considering moving to San Francisco or Chicago in the summer of 2013.

I live with my wife Beth in a nice house in Ballwin, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis). We met online in September of 2006. We were married in October 2009.

I'm a very active member of the St. Louis UNIX Users Group, and I've been chair of the St. Louis Linux Users Group for several years. I'm also active in the St. Louis Ruby Users Group

I went to college at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, in Terre Haute, Indiana. I started as a Physics major, but switched to Computer Science when I realized that I really wanted to be a "computer person". Rose-Hulman is one of the top engineering schools in the country.

I went to high school at Hazelwood East, in Spanish Lake, Missouri.
